Exploring images within a gallery

tells of an inner galaxy.

Photographers seem to duplicate detail,

when actually, they abstract reality

Expectations filter what the eye sees,

interpretations reflect visual intimacies.

Feeling the light heightens awareness,

that words alone cannot.

Emotion reveals an inner door,

exposing the depths of each contributor.

Yet, many seek to define the art,

A tool, toy or creativity ?

But reality's not absolute,

neither is photography

Photo-Talk is a 30 minute, weekly Denver Community Television program designed specifically for a general photographic audience. It explores the various imagery from cinematography and photography; including commercial, fine arts, journalism, sports, and nature. It is also a chapter of Mountain Magazine that focuses on mountain photography.

Photo-Talk is currently solicitting photographs from the entire photographic spectrum that portray the mountains, its community, weather, and activities. There a lot of photographs on the Internet and Mountain Magazine will only show those with a minimum standard of quality. The initial selection will be made by the webmaster and then the permanent collection will be voted on by the site's users here.

Upload your best photographs here to Photo-vote, vote on all of those submitted and then tell us what you like and why on the Photo-vote board. Being selective allows the discussion to stay a high level and meet the needs of advanced photographers. The discussion board will be monitored to eliminate flaming and unwanted spam. Each week, one or more guests will share their experiences, shooting locations and techniques with the Internet community. In addition, there is always something new on the latest photographic books, learn about new galleries, or evaluate interconnect with photographic community through your work and enjoy the experiences of others through viewing their work.
