My name is Kent Gunnufson and I am the webmaster, publisher, video producer, editor, photographer and entrepreneur for Mountain Magazine (MM). SnowStorm is the official name of my lean one-man media-publishing production company that produces Mountain Magazine.

But Mountain Magazine is a lot more than a publication or broadcast TV show. It's designed as a magazine format community affairs program that integrates content produced by the community through submissions. Revenues will be shared. It also functions as market place for mountain artists, musicians, authors, journalists, and film makers to help them support their efforts. I'm in need of help and that need will grow as MM grows. Want a job in publishing or show business, join in.

I prided myself on being one of the best in the building trades, and yet it was still difficult to survive the

economic demands and cyclic opportunities at the high priced ski resorts.

I could make a living as a contractor, but income as an artist wasn't a viable reality. Unfortunately my passion and work were two separate relatities dividing my life's career. Needless to say, I spent most of my spare time searching for the powerful b&w landscape image or skiing deep powder. In my retirement, I am on a quest to find mountain artists, tell their stories and help them create opportunities that I didn't have.
