state leaders Senator Nighthorse Campbell, along with
Fran Holden explain why the arts play such an important role
in our state and why it needs additional support. Recently the State has
cut art's funding from 47th in the Nation to last. On the other hand, Senator Allard is proud of our current arts program and voted to end

Glenn
Aultman recently passed away and was the second
generation of a 119 year photography legacy in Trinidad,
Colorado. Back in 1881 Glen's father took over a portrait
studio because of a bad business loan and Glenn was still
working the studio at the time of my interview in 1998. They documented the
mining era of the high country. For the last interview of Colorado's oldest mountain community
